- Pick-up from Skardu Airport & scenic drive to Khaplu (~3.5 hrs)
- Explore Khaplu Fort, Chaqchan Mosque, and Shyok River viewpoint
- Overnight stay at a traditional guesthouse/hotel in Khaplu
- Early morning drive to Thalay Valley (1 hour)
- Begin moderate trek (5-6 hours) through forests & glacial streams
- Arrive at Thalay Broq campsite (alt. ~4,000m), enjoy sunset over Masherbrum
- Bonfire & night stay in tents or shepherd huts
- Morning hike to viewpoints – see snow-capped peaks & lush meadows
- Visit local shepherd huts and experience organic dairy farming
